Student Forward Program
The Student Forward Program (SFP) is dedicated to identifying, nurturing, and maximizing the potential of every student by offering personalized pathways to success. We believe in creating an inclusive and supportive environment where students can thrive academically, personally, and professionally. Our mission is to empower students to excel in their academic pursuits, pursue their passions, and become confident, well-rounded individuals prepared to make meaningful contributions to society.
Youth Enterprise Development Program
The Youth Enterprise Development Program (YEDP) is an innovative initiative aimed at fostering practical learning experiences for students within the educational landscape of Botswana. By providing a platform for students to establish and manage youth enterprises within their schools, the program aims to equip young minds with hands-on entrepreneurial and managerial skills. Through this experiential learning opportunity, students can develop a deeper understanding of real-world business operations, financial management, and problem-solving, thereby preparing them for the dynamic demands of the professional sphere.
Workforce Ready Program
The ITO Workforce Ready Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to prepare students for the professional world by bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world work experiences. Through strategic partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and professionals, students enrolled in the Youth Enterprise Development Program (YEDP) have the opportunity to participate in a variety of career-related activities such as Winter jobs, internships, job shadowing experiences, and corporate tours. These immersive experiences are tailored to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in their future careers and contribute meaningfully to the workforce.
